Who are these Saints you speak of?
What do we think of when we hear the word Saint? I'm sure that Mother Teresa of Calcutta is among one of the first that cross your mind, or maybe Saint Paul or Peter? The word Saint can be found from the Greek word hagiazo. It Literally means to set apart or to make holy. Most people think that in order to become a saint in life we have to do great works but in fact for the christian believer it is done through Christ's death on the cross, so indeed every believer is a saint.
What Do I Feel Saints Look Like Today?
In today's world i would consider a Saint to be a Christian that's not afraid of anything. One that takes up the Holy armor of God and goes out into the field, such as our American Troops, our Missionaries and so on that fight for our everyday lives. Just think how hard it must be to be around the constant presence of death and leaving what you know to go out and serve for God and your country. I feel it is one of the most honorable things someone can do.So every believer is a saint but maybe not all of us know it? Every believer is set apart by God on a mission to do His work. God has a plan for each and everyone of us and its important to remember that even though we may not play a huge role we still all are part of this together and each person has a important role in the body of Christ.
